Project Challenge:

The project demanded precise dismantling and movement of two 250-ton Rubber Tyred Gantry (RTG) Cranes while facing logistical and regulatory hurdles:
• Damage-Free Dismantling:
Each crane had to be dismantled with utmost precision, ensuring complete preservation of structural and mechanical components.
• Logistical Obstructions:
During transportation, temporary roadblocks caused by local authority restrictions posed coordination challenges, requiring swift planning and communication to avoid delays.

Solution Delivered:

• Heavy Lift Transport:
Dismantled RTG structures were moved from JNPT port to HTPL CFS, Panvel, using multi-axle heavy lift trailers. This ensured secure handling of the oversized loads and protected critical components during transit.
• On-Site Re-erection and Hybridization:
Post-transport, the cranes were retrofitted and re-erected at the new location with full technical compliance and functional upgrades.
